Well, Hot Dog!

Well, Hot Dog!
Well Hot Dog, it’s our fourth anniversary and we want to share it with you. Yes, we really mean hot dogs and cotton candy.
On Saturday May 15th from 11-3, we invite you to Leash on Life so we can thank you for the time we have been in the community.
While we cannot compete with all the food on a stick that you might find at the state fair, we will be giving out free hot dogs, veggie dogs, pop and cotton candy for you and treats for your dog or cat.
Trade In – Trade Up…

It’s not too late if you would still like to take advantage of our food trade in offer. Bring in any bag of pet food that we do not sell and trade it for a small bag of Wellness or Holistic Select dog or cat food (while our supply lasts).
This trade-in will cost you nothing and the value of the trade-up in quality of food will have your dog or cat jumping for joy. Let us talk with you about the value of the quality ingredients and processing in the foods we carry, and have the first meal “on the house”.
Hay, what’s that?

Leash on Life is partnering with Oxbow, supplier of quality small pet
products to encourage adoption of rabbits from the Animal Center. We
have provided the shelter coupons for a complimentary bag of hay for
any adopted rabbit. Hay is absolutely vital to the digestive health of
your rabbit. Your rabbit should have unlimited access to quality
Timothy grass hay and should eat a pile of hay about the size of his or
her body every day. Offering a variety of hay will keep your rabbit
interested in hay and provide for optimum health. Bags of hay should
always look and smell fresh. Rabbits less than a year old can receive
alfalfa hay in addition to grass hay. After one year, alfalfa hay should
be used only as a treat. Leash on Life also carries bungalows, treats,
supplements and food pellets for our lagomorph friends. More next
month on treats and pellets.
Cat adoption deal…

Cat Adoption
Paws and More shelter in Washington have a large census of cats.
They would love to get these great cats into loving homes. For the month of May the adoption fee has been reduced to $25.
If you don’t have room for a new cat or kitten but would still like to help, they could also use donations of cat food. 319- 653-6713
